STONE TEMPLE STORY-TELLING SUKKAH

Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood is full of stories. It has a storied past – and will have a storied future.

This project was part of the Chicago Sukkah Design Festival and responded to the need for the community to tell it’s story to it’s own residents and the rest of Chicago. The design focused on creating a public space to gather, display, support and celebrate the ongoing narrative of the neighborhood by combining an interactive story wall with a collective space.

Project was constructed by New Office with much assistance from volunteers, community partners, and many other great contributors!
