PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO DESIGN

Located in Shanghai, the R2 photography studio sits on the ground floor of a multistory residential complex. The space is small, however, the client imagined it to be much more than just a photography studio. Instead, this is a space for socializing, exhibition, drinking tea, and taking photos. The space is divided into four areas with one continuous wall. One side of the wall performs as a photography background and the other as an exhibition wall. This simple but effective design also allowed for support spaces such as a changing room, make-up area, closets, and storage. NEW OFFICE provided conceptual design services.
